More about Tony ...
Little did I know, as a child running through the laneways and streets of Brunswick and Carlton, that some 40 years later I would be walking those same lanes again—this time with a camera in hand.
After graduating from RMIT with a Bachelor of Arts in Illustrative Photography (1996), I spent several years travelling through Europe and South America. By luck or fate, I opened a stall at the Queen Victoria Market in 2001, a decision that shaped the next chapter of my career.
The past twenty-five years have been an incredible journey—full of learning, experiences, and achievements. The opening of my String Bean Alley gallery gave me the opportunity to showcase new ideas and an ever-evolving body of work.
Post-COVID, I became a published author. Still Melbourne (Mary Martin Bookshop, 2022) features my photographic documentation of Melbourne during its historic lockdowns, with a foreword by Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp.
Please enjoy exploring my work created over the years, and stay tuned for new pieces coming soon.
